Great Shelford is located a few miles south of Cambridge.
The fun run starts and finishes on Great Shelford Recreation Ground, which is behind the Race Centre (Great Shelford Memorial Hall) on Woollards Lane.
We encourage you to walk, cycle or use public transport where possible.
Due to the road closures for the event, there is NO PARKING at the recreation ground.
The designated car parking for the event is a short walk away at Mill Court Business Park on Hinton Way, Great Shelford CB22 5LD.
Although it is less than 10 minute walk, make sure to leave a little extra time as there is a railway level crossing to get past which has been known to take some time to open on a Sunday!
Please look out for temporary signage at the car park entrance and follow the instructions of the car park marshals.
Cars and belongings are left entirely at your own risk.
Blue badge holders
We have also arranged for use of a limited number of accessible parking spaces closer to Great Shelford Recreation Ground for blue badge holders only.
Our silver sponsor Angli-Ear have offered use of their car park for blue badge holders, but please note this car park will not be able to be accessed between 10am and 12 noon, while the 5k run is in progress, as it is located on the closed road route.
There will also be a limited number of spaces reserved in the eastern section of the Great Shelford Memorial Hall car park for blue badge holders for the duration of the morning (the western section will be closed to all vehicles).
