We will endeavour to ensure that www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk is available 24 hours per day without any interruptions. However, we reserve the right to make www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk unavailable at any time or to restrict access to parts or all of www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk without notice.

- Your Contributions
You agree to only use www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk for lawful purposes and that any information that you provide in connection with, or which forms part of, www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk will be, as far as you are aware, true and accurate and will not infringe any copyright or trade mark, or any right of privacy, publicity or personality or any other right, whether registered or unregistered, of any other nature or any person, or be obscene or libellous or blasphemous or defamatory and you agree to indemnify us against all claims, proceedings, damages, liabilities and costs, including legal costs arising out of your breach of this term. We cannot make any assurances about the information or contribution made by any other user and you should exercise caution before acting or otherwise relying upon any information you obtain via www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk.
- Data Protection
It is your responsibility to ensure that that you give us an accurate and valid e-mail address and other contact details and tell us of any changes to them, however we cannot make any assurances about any other user you may meet using www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk. We comply with all applicable Data Protection laws in the UK.
- Intellectual property
www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk, its style and structure, and the materials and information on www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights, and may not be used by you except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions. The authors of the documents on www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk assert their moral rights.
- The run
When you register and run in the Shelford Fun Run, you run entirely at your own risk. You declare that you are fit to run. The organisers will not be held responsible for any injury sustained during, or as a result of, taking part in this event, or for any loss or damage to property whatsoever. All competitors must complete the race on foot, people on bikes and scooters are not allowed to take part in the race.
Any children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult who is is responsible for their safety. The adult must have paid the adult entry fee to take part in the race. 5km can be a long distance for a young child and our marshals are unable to leave their post to take a child who has pulled out of the run or become distressed or has become lost or separated from a parent back to the start.
All competitors who complete the run are entitled to a medal.
Pictures and video footage may be taken on the Shelford Fun Run and may be used on the www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk website or the Shelford Fun Run Facebook or Twitter page or that of our sponsors and in advertising material and media write-ups. All competitors entering agree to their photograph being used for these purposes. If you don't wish your photograph to be taken please tell one of the registration staff when you pick up your number.
No refunds will be given once you have registered for the event, unless due to unforeseen circumstances the event does not take place.
- Our Liability
We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of www.shelfordfunrun.co.uk or your taking part in the Shelford Fun Run.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and any dispute connected with this agreement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this User Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
